It was in the midst of all the holiday cheer, with a brief stop to get my choice holiday espresso drink (I was in the mood for a peppermint mocha at the time) and then to view Christmas displays in Ladera ranch with Kristen. The first house we cruised up to with the windows down heater up and Christmas music strumming in the back was AMAZING. I could only compare it to that commercial for bud light, with the lights that are synced to music. This is what it would be like if the Fourth of July and Christmas were ever to meet in November and team up for a holiday show. The Perry house (the families name) as they call it does just that! With well over 5,000 flashing, fading, bright, and color changing lights programmed to some of the best Christmas songs which happens to be on 107.7FM Perry’s personal radio station which just happens to broadcast from right inside their house. The songs and programming of the lights looks incredible and with each beat, chime, ding, or dong, the lights would do something new. The star at the top shimmered to the windows with wreaths, the roof outlined with red, green, and white, the plants bordered with twinkles of white and the 6 or 7 trees. If you can get a chance be sure to go up to Ladera ranch to see these festive holiday houses! The show at this house runs from 5:30-10:00 pm Sunday – Thursday & 5:30-11:00 pm Friday & Saturday. And special show times on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve at 5:30-1:00am. They go over-beyond, and ALL OUT and it won’t be the same Christmas once you see these streets decked out.
